The Risk Owner (RO) course equips managers, supervisors, and business leaders with the knowledge and tools to effectively own and manage organisational risks. Participants will gain a practical understanding of their responsibilities under governance and WHS frameworks, including how to establish and maintain a risk register, conduct and review risk assessments, and apply the hierarchy of control. 

The course also covers the selection and oversight of control owners, implementation and monitoring of controls, and assurance and governance processes. By completing this program, Risk Owners will be able to demonstrate accountability, drive proactive risk culture, and strengthen organisational resilience through structured reviews and reporting.
