Good leaders respond when problems occur. Risk-based leaders recognise the warning signs before things go wrong.

The Risk-Based Leadership™ Development Program is a practical leadership program for supervisors, team leaders, superintendents, managers and safety/risk professionals working in complex or high-risk environments.

This is not a generic leadership course. It is built from an operational risk, incident investigation and critical control management perspective.

Program Overview

This six-month program develops the leadership capability required to make confident, defensible decisions in environments where poor supervision, weak risk recognition or unclear accountability can lead to serious incidents, operational failure or organisational harm.

Participants complete six practical modules, delivered over 12 face-to-face training days.

Each module focuses on the leadership factors that commonly appear in serious incidents, audits, investigations and operational breakdowns.

Why This Program Is Different

Most leadership programs focus on communication, motivation and management theory.

This program focuses on the leadership gaps that repeatedly appear in serious incidents and organisational failures, including unclear accountability, weak supervision, poor risk recognition, ineffective contractor oversight, poor change management and failure to verify critical controls.

It is practical, operational and built for leaders who need to make decisions that hold up under scrutiny.
